Today's youth face challenges unlike any before them: global crises, social pressure, and a near constant sense of digital overwhelm. Recent studies point to a growing skepticism and a kind of collective powerlessness settling over this generation, a quiet sense that the world is changing faster than any one person can influence it. At YGPT, we believe that within that same tension lies an enormous reservoir of creativity, strength, and longing for purpose, waiting for the right space to come out.

Create Your World is an empowerment series designed by youth, for youth, aged 16 to 35. It offers a safe and inspiring space to move from passivity back into a genuine sense of self efficacy, one canvas at a time. Every session begins with the questions that matter most: what kind of future do we actually want to live in, and what does a world worth living in look like to us? These are not rhetorical questions. They are the starting point for something participants get to shape with their own hands.

From these impulses, participants:

Express themselves — transforming their dreams and values into tangible artworks on canvas, often discovering things about their own vision they had never put into words before

Find mentorship — working alongside youth mentors who offer practical tools and guidance for finding inner clarity and strength, both during the session and beyond it

​

Build community — experiencing the power of co-creating with others who share the same drive toward a better tomorrow, often forming genuine friendships along the way

​

The journey continues well beyond the session itself. Follow-up sessions are offered to anyone who wants to deepen their experience and turn their vision into concrete steps forward, along with access to YGPT's other offerings for those who want to keep building on what they started. What tends to emerge from these sessions is more than art: a strong sense of belonging, a feeling of being genuinely heard, and a renewed connection between one's personal growth and one's vision for the world.

Visions, after all, are the seeds of hope. They give young people the orientation they need to move through life with purpose, to recognize what they are working toward, and to find the strength to build it step by step.
